What do the Terpenes in Cannabis do?

Most people tend to think that the only compound that matters in cannabis is THC, but studies have shown over and over again that the cannabinoids in the plant provide a wide range of benefits that are equally important, if not even more so. Because of this, more and more people have been learning about the benefits of CBD and the market for it has exploded in recent years.       Now, researchers and consumers alike are looking deeper than ever into all the ways that cannabis can provide relief from more specific issues like gastric reflux, epilepsy, psychosis, inflammation, etc., and that's how we ended up focusing on something called "terpenes".       Terpenes are molecules that naturally occur in a variety of plants like herbs, citrus rinds, pine needles, and hops. There are more than a hundred known terpenes that can be found in cannabis, and each one can alter the taste and smell of the plant, as well as the way it affec...

Hemp Boutique Has the Best Federally Legal Cannabis on the Gulf Coast

Hemp Boutique is home to the finest federally legal cannabis on the Gulf Coast, and has been proudly helping people find relaxation and relief since 2018 right in Biloxi, Mississippi. How do they have federally legal cannabis if marijuana is illegal? Well, it's not marijuana flower, its hemp/CBD flower, which contains less than 0.3% THC (the psychoactive compound in marijuana that gets you high) so its fully legal.       That doesn't mean you don't feel anything, though. Not by any means. In fact, a huge part of what you feel when smoking cannabis is from the terpenes and other cannabinoids in the flower, not just the THC. Not to mention, all these other compounds in the flower provide a huge host of health benefits that you can't get from THC alone. We had a customer stop by and pick up a pre-roll of our Apple Strudel (a hybrid, indica-dominant strain of hemp flower) and a little while after he left, he called the store saying he had just sat at the...

The Most Efficient Way to Inhale Cannabis, EVER - Now in Biloxi, Mississippi!

Have you ever heard of a thermal extraction device? No? Well, it's the absolute most efficient way to inhale cannabis, ever.       With the DynaVap devices we carry at Hemp Boutique, there's no combustion, no smoke, and no battery. Only vapor. It's like a vaporizer, except you don't need to worry about charging it or plugging it in. In fact, it's not electronic, it's entirely mechanical, and made of either stainless steel or titanium, depending on the model. It's about the size and shape of a cigarette, and you only put one tenth of a gram of flower into it. The crazy part is, it also delivers a much more satisfying cloud of vapor than any electronic herb vaporizer we've ever seen. The way it works is with a mechanism in the cap that "clicks" as soon as it's reached the optimal temperature for extracting all the good stuff from cannabis.       You can heat it using one of the DynaVap heaters or by using a s...

CBD May Ease Your Social Anxiety

We've all felt a bit anxious at one time or another, but for some people, it's a whole lot more than that.       A lot of people have trouble enjoying social interactions with people because of their anxiety constantly ruining their experience, disrupting their thought patterns, and messing with their emotions. There have been prescription medications available for anxiety for quite awhile now, the only problem is they come with a whole host of negative side-effects. One of the major ones is dependence, which can cause someone to require anti-anxiety medication for their entire lives just to feel normal.       Thankfully, the National Institute on Drug Abuse has stated that CBD may help alleviate multiple different forms of anxiety, including social anxiety, PTSD, and anxiety-induced insomnia. Studies have shown that CBD may be a therapeutic alternative to medications and treatments and may provide relief without all the unwa...

CBD Could Help People Kick Their Addictions

CBD (cannabidiol) is known for helping people with all kinds of issues, but a study has found that it may also help to lessen drug-related cravings, helping people to go longer without relapsing and thus slowly lessening the intensity of their addiction over time.       In the study, the participants who received a dose of non-psychoactive CBD reported feeling less cravings in comparison to the placebo group when faced with addiction "cues" (things that would normally trigger intense cravings for the individual with the addiction).       These effects continued to last a week after the administration for those who had a high dose of CBD. It was also found that the CBD participants' stress response to the cues was much lower than that of the placebo group.      If you're struggling with kicking a drug habit, its possible that cannabidiol could help! If you're interested in trying it out, make ...

CBD Might Be Better For Your Bones Than Milk

Did you know a scientific study published in the  Journal of Bone and Mineral Research has shown that CBD can potentially speed up bone healing as well as strengthen bones? The co-author of the scientific study, Yankel Gabet, said “We found that CBD alone makes bones stronger during healing, enhancing the maturation of the collagenous matrix, which provides the basis for new mineralization of bone tissue,”.      A group of researchers at  Tel Aviv University tested the effects of CBD on a group of rats with mid-femoral fractures by injecting them with a combination of CBD and THC. Eight weeks later, they found that the rats who received the cannabidiol healed much more efficiently than the control group that received only a saline mixture instead. They also discovered that the THC provided little to no benefit in the healing process, and that the CBD was the chemical responsible for the improved bone strength and growth. ...

The CBD Experts of Biloxi

Whenever you take any form of medicine, you don't want to be unsure about whether or not you should be taking it, or if its right for you. You should be positive that what you're taking is exactly what you need for your particular situation, and that it's good for your body. Any uncertainty when it comes to something so important is unacceptable.       Unfortunately, most of the shops trying to sell CBD products don't take the time to thoroughly study the ins and outs of the medical side of the industry, learning which terpenes, compounds, and cannabinoids interact with the body in what ways, and which compounds each unique situation calls for.       At Nature's Miracle Hemp Boutique , we don't play when it comes to the technical stuff. We've taken the time to research each compound in each of our products to ensure we know exactly when and how it should be used. We don't take the lazy route that most stores do and just offer y...
