Is HHC the new THC?

    HHC stands for hexahydrocannabinol and is one of the lesser known cannabinoids found in cannabis plants such as Cannabis indica and Cannabis sativa L., which are commonly used by medical marijuana patients because of their high concentrations of THC (the psychoactive cannabinoid). There is research being done on whether or not HHC provides the same benefits as THC, and so far the results seem promising.

    Many different users have stated that the psychoactive effects of HHC are similar to the effects of delta 8 THC because of it seeming to have a more pronounced relaxation effect as opposed to a stimulation effect. HHC's effects appear to be stronger than those of delta 8, but not quite as pronounced as those of delta 9 THC, so a bit more may need to be consumed to achieve the desired effect for someone used to consuming traditional THC.
